President Akufo-Addo expresses gratitude to people of Eastern Region

President Akufo-Addo has expressed gratitude to the people of the Eastern Region for having faith in him since the 2008 General Election.

Speaking at Akropong as part of his tour of the Eastern Region, he urged the people to vote for him in the upcoming elections to continue his good works.

President Akufo-Addo alleged that the leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have lost touch with the people and are thus resorting to making unreasonable promises.

He said the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has the blueprint for the development of the nation and must be given a second term to better the lives of Ghanaians even more.

At Suhum was the leadership of the region and current Member Parliament (MP) for the area Opare Ansah joined Kwadjo Asante who is currently the party’s Parliamentary Candidate on stage to signify unity.

Mr. Ansah urged the people to vote massively for President Akufo-Addo and Kwadjo Asante and pledged his full support and cooperation for him.

President Akufo-Addo said the contribution of Opare Ansah to the development of the nation cannot be over emphasized.

He assured the people of Suhum that the new Parliamentary Candidate will continue the good works of his predecessor when voted into power.

The President also addressed durbars at Akyem Oda, Adeiso and Nsawam, where he introduced the Parliamentary Candidate of the constituencies to the people.
