President Akufo Addo has reduced the number of Ministries in his second term from 36 to 29.
Consequently, the number of Ministers and their deputies, as well as regional ministers to be appointed, will not exceed 85, a further reduction from the 126 in the previous administration.
This means about 25 Ministers and Deputy Ministers in the first Akufo Addo led administration who were among the 33 incumbent MPs to have lost their seats in the December 7 election will be excluded from the ministerial appointments.
