Ghanaians today, November 5, 2022, hit the streets of Accra in a peaceful protest dubbed “Ku me Preko”, an Akan word meaning kill me at once, to register displeasure at the governance of the country following recent economic difficulties.

The protestors who massed up at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange wore red and black attires holding placards with inscriptions that openly expressed the difficulties of the times, inflation, falling of the Cedi, high fuel prices among other issues.

A Leader of the demonstration, Lawyer Martin Kpebu urged citizens to come out in their numbers to demonstrate and send out the message to the people about the difficulties the people are going through.

“See nothing is happening to me, come out and let us show the President we are not happy’’, he posited.

Reports indicate the Police have provided full protection to the demonstrators.
