Ghana’s First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo has commended the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON), the student wing of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the good campaign they embarked on in the 2020 election period.

According to the First Lady, the electoral victory of the NPP during the 2020 elections was as a result of the hard work put out by the students’ wing of the party that gave a four-year new mandate to govern the country.

Addressing party faithful at a TESCON forum held at the Pentecost Conference Centre in Kasoa in the Central region, Thursday, April 7, 2022, Mrs. Akufo-Addo admitted that even though the leadership and members of TESCON, did well in the last elections, there is, however, more work to be done to break the eight.

“The future of NPP depends on you,” the First Lady noted

“I commend you for the hard work in the 2020 elections which gave us the mandate to govern the country again,

The long days and night, strategic meetings, and the door-to-door campaign of TESCON has no doubt made NPP formidable, ” according to First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Bawumia.
