The New Patriotic Party, (NPP) has held a Thanksgiving Service at its National Headquarters. Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia, who joined other party faithful said the NPP is a party with ideas and will surmount the challenges with measures being put in place.
He said the government’s initiative to use gold for oil will soon bring enormous benefits, particularly, a reduction in fuel prices. Dr Bawumia said the battle remains the Lord’s.
The thanksgiving Service began with praises and worship as members of the party clad in white apparels with a touch of party colors, danced and sang praises to the glory of God.
The Women’s Organizer, Kate Gyamfua, said the party is expressing gratitude to God for His protection and favor.
The NPP General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua, was hopeful 2023 will bring good fortunes to the country.
In an exhortation, Rev. Ebenezer Padi, of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Christ The King Congregation, said the Lord will restore and make the country shine as he did for the Israelites.
The Thanksgiving Service focused on “We are grateful God”.
Prayers were said for the President, the Vice President, government appointees, leadership of the party and the country as a whole.
