Voting underway at Dome-Kwabenya amidst heavy security

Voting has started at Dome-Kwabena Constituency in the Greater Accra Region as early as 7am under heavy security presence.

Hundreds of delegates appear to be here on time and with the help from the police they have lined-up by 6am to vote as the EC is operating two polling centres to speed up the process.

About 1,824 delegates from 124 polling stations made up polling station executives, Constituency Executives, Patrons, Elders and co are expected at Atomic Park, Adomi to elect one of the three (3) aspirants.

The Aspirants are: Lawyer Sara Adwoa Safo, the Incumbent, Lawyer Mike Oquaye Junior and Lawyer Sheela Oppong Sakyi.

Dome-Kwabenya is beloved to be a stronghold of the NPP with a voter population of about 180,000.
