Spokesperson for the National Chief Imam, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu has stated that, that there is a need for a non-partisan voice of decency and a middle line to courageously bring society back to order.
Speaking to the current happenings in Ghana’s Parliament, the Chief Imam’s Spokesperson noted that Parliamentarians are supposed to be in control to be able to pass Bills into Laws for the country, but they seem to be rather generating chaos.
‘’It is sad that this is happening in Parliament’’, he noted while on the GTV Breakfast Show.
Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu however stated that partisan politics is divisive, evil and selfish and that the nation is sharply divided in everything.
He added that the MP’s should use opposition as a partnership to collaborate with the ruling Government.
“Depart from the idea of opposing to dialogue’’, he added.
He recommended that there should be more dialogue to prevent the chaos in Parliament.
“Dialogue is when you have decided in the midst of disagreement, you come together to settle the difference and collaborate in common interest”, Sheikh Aremeyaw Shaibu explained.
