The conclusion of the first Positive Hack Camp in Moscow marked a significant milestone in global cybersecurity education, as Positive Technologies announced a strategic partnership with SGU, a leading technical university in Indonesia.
This collaboration aims to enhance the development of cybersecurity talent in Indonesia, addressing the critical need for skilled professionals in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
At the closing ceremony of the two-week international training program, Rector of SGU, Dr. Dipl.-Ing. Samuel P. Kusumocahyo highlighted the importance of the partnership.
“The rapid adoption of digital technologies is outpacing the development of cybersecurity in many parts of the world. We highly appreciate that Positive Technologies, a world-leading information security company, is willing to share its experience and knowledge with us. We look forward to seeing high-level professionals emerge in our country, and we are happy to partner with a company with such extensive hands-on experience in this area,” he said.
The partnership will see Positive Technologies and SGU jointly implement educational programs aimed at equipping Indonesian cybersecurity professionals with cutting-edge skills and knowledge. This initiative is particularly timely, given the increasing complexity of cyber threats and the growing need for robust cybersecurity infrastructures globally.
Positive Technologies Customer and Partner Training Director, and Head of Positive Education, Yuliya Dan China emphasized the strategic vision behind the collaboration.

The cybersecurity industry worldwide needs strong players capable of training and developing professional talent to create a global result-driven cybersecurity system.”
The announcement took place during the Positive Hack Camp, an international cybersecurity training program organized by Positive Technologies with the support of the Russian Ministry of Digital Development.
The event attracted 70 cybersecurity specialists from 20 countries, including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Indonesia, and Brazil, who came to learn from top Russian experts in the field.
Positive Hack Camp is set to become an annual event, with the goal of fostering a global cybersecurity community capable of effectively countering cyber threats.
This partnership with SGU is seen as a key step in building that community by cultivating local expertise in regions where cybersecurity challenges are rapidly increasing.
