Canadian-based Ghanaian boxer Theophilus Owusu is expressing optimism ahead of his bout against Petr Novak on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada.
The 29-year-old who had is debut bout two years ago has made 7 appearances in the ring with 5 wins (2KOs) and 2 loses (2KOs).
The orthodox boxer is expected to add the Czech Republican to his list of recent victims in the 6 round Super Lightweight contest under the auspices of Quebec Boxing Commission with promoter Yvon Michel of GYM Promotions.
Petr Novak, 24 comes into Thursday’s much talked about with a record of just a win in his only professional bout against Ota Mrvik in February 2024.
“I am determine to make a huge impact in the sport and that starts from my next fight against Novak. He is a good boxer but I am confident of a victory on the night. Have trained and prepared adequately for a day like this and I’m surely going to make it count” says confident Owusu.
A victory against Petr Novak will open doors for him for several fighting shots.
