For many years, Ghana has been recording post harvest losses of between 15 and 50 per cent per annul.
The problem is contributing to food insecurity and unemployment in the country.
Towards the search for a lasting solution for the food production problem, the Korean government is contributing 100, 000 Dollars to research scientists of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research to develop a solution to post harvest losses.
This came to light in Kumasi at an Evaluation workshop on development and application of Post harvest Handling Models by research scientists from 14 Africa participating countries of the Korea-Africa Agriculture Cooperation Initiative.
