Ghana’s Minister of Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, has presented the Business Statement and Economic Policy for the year ending December 31, 2025, to Parliament on March 11, 2025.
In his address, the Ajumako Enyan Essiam Member of Parliament and Finance Minister, outlined key reforms, including an overview of the Ghanaian economy in 2024, macroeconomic policies, targets, and measures for 2025 and the medium-term. He also highlighted policy initiatives, budget allocations, and sectoral performance and projections.
This presentation marks the first budget under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration since he assumed office on January 7, 2025.
