AAFCON 2024: Black Challenge crowned champions for second consecutive time

Ghana’s Amputee Football Team, Black Challenge, defeated Morocco 2-1 to emerge champions of the 2024 African Amputee Cup of Nations in Egypt. This significant achievement sees Ghana defend their title as the Champions of the African Amputee Cup of Nations.

Ghana fought a good fight against their opponent after falling behind in the game but gradually picked up in a determining and focused manner as they staged a comeback through their industrious and vibrant play to grab a well-deserved 2-1 victory. 

The team spirit within the camp has never taken a negative turn as the team’s winning mentality and attitude continue to improve each and every day, adding a significant touch of intensity to the style of play of the players whenever they step on the field to represent Ghana. 

Black Challenge are not only defending their African Amputee Cup of Nations title but are also the champions of the Africa Paralympic Football held in 2023. On the flip side, the Black Challenge will be representing Africa in the Amputee World Cup after a dominant performance in the African Amputee Cup of Nations.
