Abednego Tetteh has shed light on his return to the Ghana Premier League with former club Bibiani Gold Stars, recounting the twists in his recent football journey.

After a brief stint in the Faroe Islands, Tetteh faced visa issues, delaying his departure until October, with only three matches remaining for FC Hoyvik, his Faroese club. Tetteh’s impact was immediate, contributing to crucial wins and securing FC Hoyvik’s safety from relegation.

Despite this success, he decided to leave due to the prolonged off-season, unwilling to remain inactive until the league resumes in March 2024.

Explaining his decision in an interview with Happy FM, Tetteh stated, “I cannot stay idle from now till March,” prompting FC Hoyvik to agree to his departure for the next four months.

Despite securing a temporary deal with a Libyan team, an unexpected call from the Bibiani Gold Stars, accompanied by an invitation from the paramount Chief and elders, led Tetteh to reconsider.

“They are still insisting they need me back at the club,” Tetteh shared, hinting at ongoing discussions. Bibiani Gold Stars currently sit 16th with 12 points after match week 12 in the league.
