The Africa Cup of Nations begins on Saturday 13th January 2024 in Côte d’Ivoire. The excitement to travel to the venue has been a topic among some football fans heading to the city of Abidjan to enjoy the beautiful game of football on the African continent.
As most football fans pounder on how to get tickets to travel to Côte d’Ivoire and witness the Africa Cup Nations and throw their support behind the Black Stars, a travel and tour company called Wave Your Flag has created an initiative which will help Ghanaians travel from Accra to Abidjan without any stress on the road.
In a discussion with Studio 5 on GTV Sports Plus, the Wave Your Flag team outlined the importance of this road travel from Accra to Abidjan initiative as they look to get the numbers on board so they embark on this inspiring journey to support the Black Stars.
The journey from Accra to Abidjan on road is a way to support and promote trade in Africa and also beautifully celebrate friendship, said the Wave Your Flag team. They added that the journey will be halted in Cape Coast for some fun time and engagement before arriving at Abidjan the final destination.
The team also encouraged all fans interested in joining the Wave Your Flag, to quickly do so as the journey to Cote d’lvoire on road is going to be fun and exciting.
