The 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt enters the knockout stage today (July 5), as teams prepare to seal qualification to the quarter final stage of the competition.
Morocco will face Benin in the first game at 4pm, while Uganda and Senegal face off at 7pm.
So far, Algeria and Mali have recorded the highest number of goals with 6 apiece. Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Egypt, Madagascar and Senegal all have 5 goals, while Ghana and Guinea have 4.
Ghana’s Jordan Ayew is among a host of players including Egypt’s Mohammed Salah and Senegal’s Sadio Mane leading the goal king chart with two goals.
