Ghana’s men’s beach volleyball team has secured a spot in the quarterfinal stage after a brilliant run in the group stage, beating all its opponents in a convincing fashion.

Ghana showed a vibrant level of strength in accumulating three straight victories. Their strength and resilience was evident as they triumphed over their opponents in every single game.

Ghana in their first game beat their Senegalese opponent by 2:0, leaving them no chance but to accept the defeat. All their efforts to get back into the contest were of no avail as Ghana walked into the final minutes with a strong victory, boosting their chances moving forward.

The second group game was a learning step from the first game, as Ghana gave Togo no chance of a victory. Ghana won the game by 2:1, but this time conceding a goal. The victory against Togo automatically opened their chances of making the quarterfinal stage a realistic one.

The final group game against Benin brought intensity and momentum from both teams, as their need to qualify was equally important to both teams. Ghana stood their ground as they delivered a stunning performance by securing a 2:0 victory against Benin.
