British boxer Anthony Joshua nailed his 25th knockout of his boxing career as he delivered the most powerful statement to the heavyweight division with a destructive second-round victory against former UFC fighter and now-turned boxer Francis Ngannou at the Kingdom Arens in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a non-title bout dubbed “night of chaos.”

Joshua sent Ngannou crashing to the canvas in the first round and floored him early in the second round with a hellacious knockout.

Ngannou, who was dazed, tried rising to his feet but was met with a powerful and formidable right punch to the face moments later, as the referee had no option but to stop the fight.

Ngannou seemed to be out before crashing onto the canvas and requiring medical attention.

Joshua’s victory over the Cameroonian is his fourth win in 11 months, and he’s on course to recapture a world title.

Boxing promoter Eddie Hears, who has promoted Joshua throughout his heavyweight professional career, has called on the Watford-born boxer to face the winner of the bout between Tyson Fury and Olexsandr Usyk.
