The Black Stars of Ghana wallow in a situation of getting out of their poor performance in the AFCON since 2019 as fans continue to throw their desperation on them to deliver as soon as possible.

Following Ghana’s game in the second round against Egypt, football fans took to the internet when the much-hyped and praised star of the new generation, Mohammed Kudus, took the stage, his blistering talent catching the attention of some former Black Stars players like Asamoah Gyan.

Asamoah Gyan, who is Ghana’s top scorer with 51 goals, reacted to Kudus’s remarkable performance in the Egypt game, in which he scored two important goals to salvage a draw for the Black Stars of Ghana.

Asamoah Gyan himself gave a big performance on the African stage, but the display of Kudus couldn’t stop him from hiding his joy as Mohammed stood tall against the Egyptians in what was a crucial contest for both sides.

Mohammed Kudus has been credited by majority as the next big thing in Ghana and world football. The Boy from Nima has been the name on the lips of Ghanaians whenever he plays for the Black Stars.

Kudus, who was mostly drawn to the bench in his youth national team days, was surprisingly given the chance by Coach Kwesi Appiah in 2019 to join the senior national team, which saw some criticism flying towards the coach for his decision, but he stood firm to his decision.
