Asamoah Gyan’s much anticipated All Regional Games (ARG), initially scheduled for 2024, have been postponed to 2025. This decision, announced on October 17, 2024, by the ARG management, aims to elevate the event’s scale and impact. The games, which serve as a platform to discover and nurture sports talent from all sixteen regions of Ghana, are set to return with enhanced vigour and opportunities for athletes.

The ARG management emphasised their commitment to delivering a more substantial and meaningful event, allowing for a more focused approach to uncovering and developing sports talent. By taking additional time, the organisers aim to exceed expectations and provide participants with a superior platform to showcase their abilities.

The management further urged athletes who have already registered for the games not to worry as their data remains secure, and they will be prioritised for the 2025 edition. The ARG management also extended a warm welcome to new athletes, ensuring that the rigorous regional trials will continue to ensure fair selection and representation.

The ARG management also expressed gratitude to the sixteen Regional Ministers, Regional Coordinating Councils, Federation Heads, Technical Directors, Regional Coordinators, the media, and the general public for their understanding and support. The new date for the 2025 event will be announced soon.
