International Football Commentator who doubles as a Sports Journalist at GBC has stated that former ace footballer Asamoah Gyan will be remembered as a beast in the history of Ghana’s football.
According to him, Gyan has on several occasions portrayed himself as a strong-willed person who one could always count on to deliver on the pitch.
“We will always remember Asamoah Gyan as someone who took us from a certain level to another level. And to have a total of 346 games and goals of 177 that should tell you that this man is a beast”, Graham explained to Maltiti Sayida Saddick on the GTV Breakfast Show.
He made this statement in response to the emotional retirement announcement by the former Black Stars striker at the Afreximbank Conference last Tuesday.
“It is time. It is time to hand the jersey and boots in glory as I officially retire from active football”, Gyan announced to mark his retirement from football at age 37.
He also added that different talents sprout out of different generations, so Ghana should put pressure on the current crop of players to produce the same output as Asamoah Gyan.
