The Porcupine Warriors of Ghana Football, Kumasi Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has beaten Accra Lions to record their first-ever Premier League win at the Accra Sports Stadium under Coach Ogum’s return in this season’s Betpawa Ghana Premier League.
The two-time CAF Champions saw a late-hour header from Kalo Quattara in the 97th minute to secure their first and crucial three points in the ongoing Betpawa Premier League. The win becomes the first since Gaffer, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum made a return to the Team.
The win also means the Kotoko will leapfrog the relegation zone and see themselves within the middle belt of the league table standings.
The celebration from both players and the technical team shows how important the win is for the team.
