Founding member of the NPP and Former GFA Boss, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe has suggested that a local coach should be picked as the country gears up towards the World Cup Qualifiers. He suggested the Coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Nartey Ogum. He said the trainer has brought a lot of life to Kotoko and if “we really want to get somewhere we need to give the gentleman power and I can tell you that he will give us a team we shall be surprised”.
Togbe Tamakloe however disagreed with bringing Otoo Addo on board saying that he neglected the team when they needed him most.
‘’He has no passion for the job’’, but Togbe Tamakloe was quick to add that he has nothing against him.
Speaking about preparations towards the World Cup Qualifiers and bringing in a new Coach Togbe Nyaho said Kurt is equally a good option but this isn’t the time for him to come. He stressed that his best bet is on Kotoko Dr. Ogum Nartey and Didi Dramani. Dr. Tamakloe said both gentlemen would give the country the victory it’s been yearning for adding that they will put the boys on what he described as “world footing”
He however advised the players going to be selected to work hard and achieve good results for Ghana.
