The 18-year-old sensation, who recently clinched a gold medal at the 2023 African Games with the Black Satellites, is set to continue his football journey in Spain. His move highlights his growing reputation as one of the best young talents on the African continent.
Issah’s transfer marks the second time this window that a player from the Ghana League has joined Barcelona, following in the footsteps of fellow Ghanaian David Oduro, who made the move earlier this summer. This trend underscores the increasing recognition of Ghanaian football talent on the global stage and Dreams FC’s role in nurturing such promising players.
During his time with Dreams FC, Issah was a standout performer, particularly in the 2023/24 CAF Confederation Cup season. His impressive record of four goals and two assists in ten games contributed significantly to the team’s success.
