Patieno Adams, the Public Relations Officer for the National Sports Authority (NSA) in Kumasi, made the announcement during an interview on Akoma 87.9 FM.

“All work at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium is completed and ready to host any football events; however, we are awaiting clearance from our masters in Accra before the facility can be opened,” Adams stated.
