Ghanaian forward Bernard Tekpetey has once again added another accolade to his footballing career as he helped his team, PFC Ludogorets Razgrad, win another league title, making it his fourth consecutive title-winning season with his club side in Bulgaria.
The Bulgarian champions sealed their 13th league title on Saturday with a walkover victory against CSKA Sofia. Tekpetey, who has been a major contributor to his team’s remarkable season, scored 10 goals and provided five assists, ranking him among the top three scorers on the team.
The 26-year-old’s exploit on the pitch has been impressive, as his determination and ability to always give his all for his team have never been in doubt, as his numbers in the last four seasons with Ludogorets have increased every season. The Ghanaian also showed some glimpse of his ability in the Europa League, as he scored two goals in four games.
Tekpetey signed for the Bulgarian side in 2021 from German side Schalke 04 after pulling off successful loan spells. His impeccable performance wasn’t looked down on, as he gained recognition from numerous pundits and football followers.
The Ghanaian, after a successful four-year campaign with PFC Ludogorets Razgrad, has had numerous offers tabled for him from the big leagues in Europe, with England and Spain being the likely destinations for the 26-year-old.
