The Black Stars of Ghana have touched down in Moroni ahead of their second group game against the Coelacantes of Comoros in the 2026 CAF World Cup qualifiers, with the game set to come off at the Stade de Moroni on Tuesday, November 21 at 4:00 pm local time.
Both teams opened their World Cup qualification with a win. The Black Stars left it late as Inaki Williams scored a 96th-minute header to snatch all three points for Ghana in a crunch game against the Barea of Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, November 17, 2023.
Elsewhere, Comoros beat Central African Republic 4-2 at the Shade de Moroni to set up a juicy meeting with the twinkle little stars of Ghana on Tuesday in a game that will be full of action.
The Black Stars are on a revenge mission as they set their sights on avenging their 3-2 loss to the Indian Ocean Island nation at last year’s AFCON in Cameroon.
The team landed in Moroni in fine shape to start preparations ahead of Tuesday’s game.
