Former Minister of Sports and MP for Odododiodio, Nii Lante Vanderpuye says Ghanaians should not jubilate over Black Stars victory in the game with their Guinea-Bissau counterpart.
He said although the victory was very much expected, their performance has been very poor.
Nii Lante Vanderpuye, called for an overhaul of the team after the tournament.
He spoke to host Ibrahim Kwarteng on news and current affairs programme “Behind the News” on Uniiq FM.
Meanwhile, former Black Stars goalkeeper and coach Abukari Damba says qualifying to the next stage is one core thing the Black Stars have achieved but the start of the game was slow for viewers and supporters.
He said that although their performance has not been inspiring in previous matches, the Black Stars encounter with Guinea-Bissau was better.
