Apem Darkoa, after a slow start, came from behind to record a victory against ASFAR Club. The Ghana Women’s Premier League Champions are currently in Ivory Coast, representing Ghana in the CAF Women’s Champions League.

The home side took the lead after a slow start from Apem Darkao in the first 15 minutes, burning the defence of the Apem Darkao ladies. Apem Darkao had some chances in the first half to level the game.

The Ladies from Techiman introduced their “A” game in the second half by finding the back of the net in the 57th minute. A sublime goal from comfort Yeboah outside the box gave the ASFAR goalkeeper something to think of.

Comfort Yeboah once again got herself involved in the goals, but this time her unique skills from the right wing forced an own goal on the side of ASFAR Club.

There was a nervous moment on the side of Apem Darkao when their goalkeeper miscalculated her movement, but ASFAR couldn’t take advantage of that.

Apem Darkao kept their core and managed to seal through the game with their 2:1 win, which they fought hard to get. Next on the table for the Ghana Women’s Premier League Champion is AS Mande on November 9, 2023.
