Dream FC edged out Kallon FC 2-1 in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday afternoon.

Goals from Godfred Atuahene and John Antwi were enough for the Still Believers to walk on FCK of Sierra Leone.

Dreams FC took an early lead after coming strongly against their opponents in the 12th minute through Godfred Atuahene, who drilled the ball into the net. The Still Believers couldn’t hold on to their lead at halftime, as Kallon FC tied the game just a minute before the final whistle.

After the break, Kallon FC couldn’t hold on to their draw and forced Dream FC’s striker to the ground in the 18-yard box, resulting in a penalty. John Antwi stepped up and scored the second goal to restore Dreams FC’s lead.

The first leg ended with Dream FC taking the lead at home 2-1. The second leg is scheduled for October 1, 2023, in Sierra Leone.
