In a thrilling Ligue 1 match on Sunday evening, Ghanaian forward Ernest Nuamah showcased his talent by scoring a brilliant goal for Olympique Lyon in their clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

Despite Lyon suffering a 4-1 defeat to the league leaders, Nuamah’s performance was a standout moment in the game.

The match started with PSG taking an early lead, with Nemanja Matic scoring an own goal just three minutes into the game. Lucas Beraldo and Gancalo Ramos added to PSG’s lead, putting Lyon in a difficult position. However, Nuamah’s goal provided a glimmer of hope for Lyon, as he displayed his skill and precision with a well-taken strike.

After receiving a pass from Ainsley Maitland-Miles, Nuamah expertly cut inside onto his left foot and found the back of the net with a low shot past Gianluigi Donnarumma. His goal not only showcased his individual quality but also highlighted his importance to the Lyon team.

Despite Nuamah’s efforts, PSG extended their lead through Ramos, who scored his second goal of the night. Nuamah was substituted in the 77th minute, but his impact on the game was evident.

With three goals and two assists in the French Ligue 1 this season, Nuamah has proven to be a valuable asset for Lyon. His performance against PSG further solidifies his position as a rising star in Ghanaian football, showcasing the talent and potential that Ghana has found upfront.
