Team Ghana, after finishing 6th in their 4x100m heat 2 race, has officially been disqualified due to a late baton change.

The incident occurred during the final leg of the race when the athletes mistakenly exchanged the baton outside the designated zone, causing the team to lose their place in the competition.

The race was fraught with challenges for the Ghanaian team from the very beginning. Slow baton changeovers and stumbling runs plagued their performance, making it difficult for them to keep up with the other competitors. Despite these hurdles, they managed to complete the race, originally finishing in the 6th position with a time of 38.62 seconds.
