The Black Stars of Ghana will take on the Brave Warriors of Namibia on Monday 8th January 2024 in a friendly match prep.
The match will be hosted in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium at exactly 8pm.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced a free gate for all Ghanaians who will be interested in attending the game to rally their support behind the team. The gate will be opened to free access to the popular stands and centre line.
The GFA noted in their communique that, the free gate initiative is a way to show appreciation to the fans for their unwavering support throughout the Black Stars qualification journey.
“This is to say thank you to Ghanaians for supporting the Black Stars and to cheer the national team on for a good sendoff to Ivory Coast for the 2023 AFCON”; Said the Ghana Football Association.
The game on Monday 8th January, 2024 against the two sides is to prepare them for the big tournament in Côte d’Ivoire. Ghana will face Cape Verde, Egypt and Mozambique in Group B, while, Namibia goes head-to-head with Tunisia, Mali and South Africa in Group E.
