The Ghana Premier League week 11 ended with some exciting match results and bizarre news as Kumasi Asante Kotoko and other struggling clubs recorded some great victories to climb up the league table with Coach Maxwell Konadu being attacked at the coronation park.

Sheriff Mohammed’s penalty goal helped Kotoko bounce back to winning ways with a 1-0 win over Medeama SC at the Baba Yara Stadium after going 3 games without a win.

A hattrick from Owusu Afriyie guided Real Tamale United to a 3-1 victory against Dreams FC at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale after going 5 games without a win. The Golden City Park came alive as Berekum Chelsea nailed a 1-0 win over Legon Cities.

Michael Osei’s Bibiani Gold Stars stayed at home and ended up losing 1-0 to new boys Nations FC at the Duns Park. The Sunyani Coronation Park wasn’t left out as Tano Bofoakwa drew goalless 0-0 with Nsoatreman FC, the match ended with head coach of Nsoatreman, Maxwell Konadu and some match officials beaten.

Heart of Lions lost 2-1 to Bechem United at the Hohoe Sports Stadium thereby compounding their troubles as they still remain rooted at the bottom of the league with 7 points.

Karela United drop to the 15th position and tied on the same number of points (12) with 14th placed Hearts of Oak after beating Aduana Stars 2-1 at home.

The actions continue today November 20, 2023 with Accra Great Olympics welcoming Samartex 1996 to the Accra Sports Stadium to slug it out. Accra Lions and Hearts of Oak will conclude match week 11 on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
