The Senior National male football team, the Black Stars, have sealed their qualification to the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Côte D’ivoire.
The Black Stars beat their counterparts from the Central African Republic by two goals to one.
The Black Stars were down in the 25th minute, but a free kick from Mohammed Kudus in the 43rd minute leveled the score.
Back from the break the Black Stars looked an improved side with the introduction of some fresh limbs, Ernest Nuamah, Gideon Mensah and Antoine Semenyo and Baba Iddrisu.
Substitute Antoine Semenyo set up another substitute Ernest Nuamah to score Ghana’s second goal of the game with three minutes from time.
Angola, which drew 0-0 at home against Madagascar joins Ghana as the two qualified teams from the group.
