Ghanaian footballers, across the various leagues in the world showcased their exceptional skills and talent this weekend as they contributed significantly to their teams.

In England’s FA Cup, Thomas Partey came off the bench for Arsenal in a nail-biting match against Manchester United, where the Gunners ultimately fell short in a penalty shootout. Antoine Semenyo also delivered a masterclass performance off the bench with a goal and an assist in Bournemouth’s dominant 5-1 win over West Brom.

Meanwhile, Kamaldeen Sulemana shone brightly for Southampton, scoring a goal and providing an assist in their commanding 3-0 victory over Swansea City, proving once again that Ghanaian talent is making waves in the English league.

As the excitement continued, Jordan Ayew played a pivotal role in Leicester City’s dominant 6-2 win over QPR, showcasing his impressive form. In contrast, Salis Abdul Samed made his long-awaited debut for Sunderland, marking his return from injury despite the team’s 2-1 loss to Stoke City.

Across the borders in Spain’s La Liga, Abdul Mumin played a full match for Rayo Vallecano, contributing to their 2-1 victory over Celta Vigo.
