Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira Bawumia has sent a goodwill message to the Black Stars of Ghana.
The National team takes on Les Écureuils of Benin this evening in their opening match at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
In a tweeted message, Vice President Dr. Bawumia urged the team to be focused and resilient in their quest to break the 37 years dry spell at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
He asked Ghanaians to rally behind the team.
“As a country, let’s rally behind the Black Stars and provide them the necessary support to win the trophy for the fifth (5th) time in our football history.”
