The University of Ghana Stadium witnessed a tense encounter as Hearts of Oak and Aduana FC played out a goalless draw, leaving fans pondering the former’s prospects in the ongoing Ghana Premier League (GPL) season. Hearts of Oak’s inability to secure a win has sparked discussions about their potential to perform well this season.

Over at the T & A Stadium, Medeama SC continued their unbeaten streak with a goalless draw against Heart of Lions. The home team was determined to maintain their flawless start to the season, while Heart of Lions aimed to recover from a series of draws. Despite the lack of goals, the match was a testament to Medeama’s solid defensive strategies, which have become a hallmark of their gameplay this season.

In a contrasting narrative, Asante Kotoko climbed to the top of the league table with a narrow yet significant 1-0 victory over Accra Lions at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium. Albert Amoah’s decisive goal in the 48th minute, courtesy of Dauda Saaka’s precise cross, showcased Kotoko’s attacking capabilities and strategic execution.

Bibiani Goldstars continued their impressive unbeaten run by defeating Bechem United 1-0 at Dun’s Park, further solidifying their position in the league.

Meanwhile, Vision FC celebrated their second win in the top flight with a narrow victory over Basake Holy Stars. Daniel Yemoh’s decisive strike in the 43rd minute underscored Vision FC’s determination to make a mark in the league.

Elsewhere, Nsoatreman FC ended their winless streak with a commanding 3-1 victory over Legon Cities FC, while Berekum Chelsea secured a 1-0.
