The club is currently tracking Dreams FC’s Solomon Agbasi and Great Olympics’ Benjamin Asare, both of whom have shown outstanding performances in the recent season. The Phobians are eager to secure the services of these two goalkeepers to strengthen their defence for the upcoming season.
Benjamin Asare, who has been a standout player for the Great Olympics, recorded an impressive 16 clean sheets during the 2023–2024 Ghana Premier League season. This remarkable achievement has not gone unnoticed, and Hearts of Oak management believes that his inclusion could significantly enhance their squad’s defensive capabilities. On the other hand, Solomon Agbasi of Dreams FC has also caught the attention of Hearts of Oak with his stellar performances. Agbasi played a crucial role in Dreams FC’s remarkable journey in African competitions this season. His efforts between the sticks were instrumental in the team reaching the semi-finals in their first continental campaign, earning him the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament award. His agility and shot-stopping abilities make him a prime target for the Phobians.
