Accra Hearts of Oak are setting their sights on bolstering their squad with two of the most promising goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League. The club is currently tracking Dreams FC’s Solomon Agbasi and Great Olympics’ Benjamin Asare, both of whom have shown outstanding performances in the recent season. The Phobians are eager to secure the services of these two goalkeepers to strengthen their defence for the upcoming season.

Benjamin Asare, who has been a standout player for the Great Olympics, recorded an impressive 16 clean sheets during the 2023–2024 Ghana Premier League season. This remarkable achievement has not gone unnoticed, and Hearts of Oak management believes that his inclusion could significantly enhance their squad’s defensive capabilities. Asare’s consistent performances have made him one of the most sought-after goalkeepers in the league.

On the other hand, Solomon Agbasi of Dreams FC has also caught the attention of Hearts of Oak with his stellar performances. Agbasi played a crucial role in Dreams FC’s remarkable journey in African competitions this season. His efforts between the sticks were instrumental in the team reaching the semi-finals in their first continental campaign, earning him the Best Goalkeeper of the Tournament award. His agility and shot-stopping abilities make him a prime target for the Phobians.

The potential acquisition of both Agbasi and Asare is seen as a strategic move by Hearts of Oak to build a formidable squad capable of competing at the highest level. The club’s management is optimistic that bringing in these top-tier goalkeepers will not only improve their chances of success in domestic competitions but also enhance their performance on the continental stage.
