Hearts of Oak part ways with Dutch coach Martinus Koopman

After 10 games in the ongoing Ghana Premier League. Hearts of Oak mutually part ways with Dutch coach Martinus Koopman.

This agreement came two days after their game with Legon Cities which the Phobians played out a goalless draw.

A press statement was released by Harts of Oak following the mutual agreement between the two parties. Hearts have been nowhere near their best. The Phobians have struggled in the league for two seasons now.

Hearts, last season battled with relegation which left some of the fans in doubt about whether Hearts of Oak still has a future in the Premier League and more importantly Africa.

Although they have accumulated 5 points from a possible 9 points in their last three games, gave some impression that the team have started finding their rhythm and will eventually pick up their expected form when the season progresses.

Hearts sits at 11th place after match day 10. They are 9 points behind leaders, Aduana Stars who have 21 points after match day 10. Fans have been left devastated by the weak mentality of the players.

The just departed head coach of Hearts of Oak, Martinus Koopman shared his displeasure over the lack of support from the supporters in times of uncertainty and difficulties.

He exclaimed that the supporters should be showing real passion at this time of need and not hiding and throwing shade at the team.
