Ghanaian youngsters Ibrahim Osman and Christopher Bonsu Baah have earned a spot in the top 100 list for the 2024 Golden Boy Award. Both players have been in remarkable form for their respective teams.

The Golden Boy Award is given to players plying their trades in Europe who are below the age of 21. Ibrahim Osman, who plays his football in Denmark with FC Nordsjaelland, has not left a foot wrong ever since emerging into the professional scene. Christopher Bonsu Baah also, on the other hand, holds a similar run of form with his Belgian side, KRC Genk.

Among the 100 players shortlisted for the Golden Boy Award, Ibrahim Osman ranks 41st, while Baah-Bonsu sits in the 60th position. This position outlines how bright Ghanaian football is going to be in the near future, considering the number of talented players who day in and day out pop out to impress the world with their talent.

Baah-Bonsu is no stranger to this list, as this is his second time being named among the top 100 young players in the world. Baah-Bonsu has three goals in 41 appearances with KRC Genk.

Ibrahim Osman has netted seven goals with six assists for FC Nordsjaelland.

Notable names topping the list are Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and English-born Ghanaian Kobbie Mainoo.
