Asante Kotoko has officially signed former Aduana Stars striker Isaac Mintah on a two-and-a-half-year deal. The 26-year-old forward completed his medical and joins the team after leaving Libyan side Al-Ahli.

Head coach Prosper Ogum has expressed excitement about the new addition, describing Mintah as a key player who will enhance Kotoko’s attacking options. “Isaac is an exceptional forward who knows how to make things happen in the final third. His eye for goal and ability to link up with teammates make him a perfect fit for our style of play,” Ogum said.

Mintah had an impressive season with Aduana Stars in the Ghana Premier League, scoring 17 goals and assisting four times in 40 matches. His consistent performances made him a top target for several clubs.

His arrival is timely, as Kotoko’s top scorer, Albert Amoah, is out for two months due to injury. Mintah becomes the club’s third signing of the transfer window, following Kwame Opoku and Sampson Eduku.

Kotoko is currently 5th on the league table with 28 points. The team will face Vision FC in their next match as they aim to climb higher in the standings.
