Black Stars Forward, Jordan Ayew has assured Ghanaians that the game against Egypt on Thursday in the ongoing African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast will be good.

The Crystal Palace man said they lacked concentration in the first game which ended 1-2 against Cape Verde but they are ready to stay focused and more aggressive against the pharaohs of Egypt.

“The first game we lacked concentration for the 90+ minutes and that’s what cost us the game’. Jordan said.

“The most important thing for us is to come back stay focused as a team, show different qualities that we have, be more aggressive in every department and we’ll be fine”. He added.

“I have total belief in the players and staff. I’m confident tomorrow will be a good day for Ghana.” He stated.

Ghana will face Egypt in their second Group B game at 8:00 PM.

Coach Chris Hughton and his men are hopeful to make amends to avoid what transpired at the 2021 AFCON in Cameroon where the team failed to win a game in the group stages, losing two and drawing one to finish with a point.
