Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil is gearing up to make his Major League Soccer (MLS) debut against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami on Sunday, February 25, 2024. The news was officially announced on the club’s social media accounts.
The former KRC Genk player signed a four-year deal with LA Galaxy as a Designated Player.
With his International Transfer Certificate and P-1 Visa successfully secured, Paintsil is now ready to take the MLS by storm. The winger has had an impressive record in the Belgian League, where he played 168 matches, scored 40 goals, and provided 28 assists.
Earlier in the week, Paintsil said goodbye to teammates, coaches, and supporters of the Limburg based side before his announcement in Los Angeles.
