At the Kazan Expo, with President Putin and several other presidents gracing the occasion, the Opening Ceremony for the Games of the Future took place. A fine blend of human skill and cutting-edge technology was beautifully crafted to set the tone for what will be an unforgettable night.
Ghana’s Shaibu Ali Ayornu was one of the special guests who sat behind the dignitaries at the event. Approximately $58 million was invested in organising the entire games.
Two thousand athletes from over 30 countries, including Russia, Ghana, Canada, and Nigeria, to mention a few, are set to compete for honours in multiple sports disciplines, from football to ice hockey, etc.
The games will be played in two ways: physically and through cyber gaming for each sport.
The team that wins after points have been accrued moves on to complete the next stage until a final winner wins bragging rights and the price at stake, making the Games of the Future a unique sports commodity with global appeal for fans of all ages.
