Former president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Alhaji M.N.D Jawua has urged Executive Council of the GFA to adhere to the terms and conditions of contracts signed with coaches.

Ghana has struggled to win her 5th Africa cup of Nations trophy since 1982 despite hiring over 28 coaches having stints with the Black Stars through the Ghana Football Association.

It has been a constant attribute of Ghana sacking coaches after every major competition with the expectations of not winning the ultimate being trophy.

“When we appoint coaches let’s try and follow the contract. The constant sacking of the coaches has really affected us and that is also major error derailing our development. The system has changed and the constant change of coaches has not helped us and it impedes consistency thereby affecting development”.

The Ghana Football Association has replaced Milovan Rajevac after the disastrous AFCON participation in the just ended competition in Cameroon with Otto Addo, George Boateng and Didi Dramani to lead the Black Stars for the 2022 Qatar world cup qualifiers against Nigeria.
