Ghana FA License D Coaching Course Ends in the Volta Region

The much anticipated Ghana Football Association (GFA) License D Coaching course scheduled for the Volta Region, successfully came to an end last Monday, January 24, 2022, in Ho, the Volta Regional capital.

The course was in partnership with the Technical Directorate of the GFA and the Volta Regional Football Association(VRFA).

Forty-one (41) participants, which includes 40 men and a lady, were introduced to exceptional lessons such as, Safety and Accidents Prevention in Football, Fundamental Criteria of Football and Shooting Techniques.

Former Ghanaian International and Goalkeeper’s trainer, Mr. Abukari Damba and Mr. Burton Asare Wilson were among seasoned instructors who handled the course.

The Course Coordinator, who doubles as the Administrative Manager of the GFA’s Technical Directorate, Maxwell Kemeh Dunyoh, was also present, as well as officials from the Volta FA.

The Volta FA chairman, Daniel Agbogah encouraged participants to use the knowledge gained to improve the growth of grassroot football in the region and beyond.

Participants who would attain the required passing mark, will be certified by the GFA as a License D coaches.

At the end of the course, the delighted participants presented citations to course instructors.

A date would soon be announced for the commencement of a second batch later this year.
