Ghana Premier League champions Medeama has recently sent their plead to the President of the republic to fulfill his GHC 1 million which he promised them at the event when they visited him with the Ghana Premier League trophy at the Jubilee house.
Medeama who is the face of Ghana when it comes to the CAF Champions League this season, has made a huge tune by booking their place in the group stages. They have some big household names in the group in the likes of record CAF Champions League holders Al Ahly.
“We want to thank the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for their support since our campaign in Africa because it has been good. But again, we want to appeal to President Akufo Addo that he promised to offer us GHC 1 million when we visited him, and we are pleading that he walk the talk”; said Ebenezer Aidoo, Brand and Marketing Manager of Medeama Sporting Club.
The group stage matches are set to begin later this month whereby Medeama will face big giants, Al Ahly in Cairo which explains why they are sending the first gentleman of the land a notice on his pledge.
