West Ham player Mohammed Kudus has been accused of violent behaviour by the FA after his actions in Saturday’s loss to Tottenham Hotspur.

The Ghanaian player might face a longer suspension, as the FA is looking into his “improper behavior” along with the red card incident that initially got him banned.

Kudus was given a three-match suspension, meaning he won’t play until after the next international break, but this punishment could be increased.

He was sent off after VAR changed his yellow card to a red for kicking and pushing Spurs player Micky van de Ven in the face during Tottenham’s 4-1 win.

The situation got worse when Kudus also pushed Pape Matar Sarr, while Richarlison fell after charging at Kudus amid the scuffle involving several players.

The FA said both teams and Kudus have two days to respond to the accusations, with statements issued about the behavior of both sides during the game.

West Ham manager Julen Lopetegui admitted he did not see the incidents but showed concern for Kudus and the club.
