Board Chairman of the National Sports Authority, Seth Panwum, has demanded the immediate dismissal of Ghana’s head coach, Otto Addo.
Seth Panwum’s remarks came after Ghana suffered a 2-1 defeat to Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday to end Ghana’s abysmal AFCON 2025 qualifying campaign.
In an interview with Angel FM Seth Panwum said, “Otto Addo must be sacked because he was given a performance contract and he has failed to perform.”
Although the loss, Ghana’s first at the Accra Sports Stadium in 16 years, was disheartening, the greater concern was the team’s inability to secure qualification for next year’s tournament.
Otto Addo becomes the sixth coach under the Kurt-led GFA without going beyond the group stages of various tournaments.
Meanwhile, the Executive Council is billed to meet on Wednesday to discuss the fate of the former Dortmund manager.
