Team Ghana has concluded on 4 strong athletes during the parade for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Ghana arrived at this number following a directive from the organizers for the event due to size of the contingent.

Led by captain and flagbearer of the team Joseph Paul Amoah, will feature Africa Champions Rose Yeboah, starboy Benjamin Azamati, swimmer Joselle Mensah and CDM of the team Isaac Duah.

Though the event has already started, the opening ceremony official paves way for the event to start with a lot of big dignitaries expected to attend.

For the first time, the opening ceremony will not take place in a stadium. Athletes will arrive via boat and cruise down the Seine, passing by historic Paris landmarks, including the Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral and the Louvre.

France’s most listened-to singer, Aya Nakamura will be performing a Charles Aznavour classic, accompanied by the Republican Guard. Queen of ballads Céline Dion will serenade with a song by Édith Piaf, and American pop sensation Lady Gaga will also be performing.

Team Ghana will be in their artistically woven rich fugu to display the rich Ghanaian culture on Friday night.
